- online practice game to teach the concepts of place value, both with and without decimals

Science:

- students can watch polar bear migration, brown bear and salmon cams, many types of birds, and many others
Virtual Owl Pellet
- exactly what the name implies: students can dissect owl pellets without the mess and smell
- may work with kids that don't want to touch it, or as an additional lesson in the unit

Social Studies:

The First Thanksgiving
